Aimee! Thank you for this discussion. I truly enjoyed it. And “Authors Unfiltered” is a great frame. One thing that fascinates me is how varied our trajectories as writers can be. My own path has been littered with unexpected reversals - literary theft, Copyright infringement, the works - which I use to help others through their own trials. But the thing we must all have in common is PERSISTENCE. Without that, we’re sunk. Thank you, always, for your generosity!
Persistence. Amen. But also love. Any writer who doesn't love writing should quit right now. IMHO all the other justifications, which used to be viable, have fallen into the shredder of "progress."
